ABPM-04 is a silent, compact and lightweight, programmable ambulatory blood pressure monitor. Using 4 AA rechargeable batteries during a 24 or 48 hour monitoring period, it can perform up to 300 measurements. The device can store more than 600 readings in its solid-state memory for an unlimited length of time. It incorporates the proprietary Meditech blood pressure measurement algorithm - clinically validated to the BHS and AAMI accuracy criteria - to achieve reliable BP readings with short mean measurement times. The patient can trigger extra measurements and mark any events and set a special day/night marker using the buttons on the device. ABPM-04 automatically recognizes standard, small and large Meditech cuff sizes. It provides a voltage display function to ensure that the batteries are properly charged for the monitoring period. It is very quiet and equipped with multiple patient safety functions. It can be connected to practically any standard PC with its serial optical interface cable. The user-friendly software provides flexible programming as well as comprehensive analysis, presentation and reporting functions. The device wears CE mark and has FDA market clearance as well.
